We are fortunate indeed to be situated just 100mts off the
main Cork/Ringaskiddy route (N28). Adjacent to Ringaskiddy Ferry Port, Cork
International Airport, Cross- River Ferry, Cork City and also South Link road
network and Tunnel. This splendid location makes the perfect touring base or
ideal overnight stay for Ferry or Airport.
Monkstown is well known for it’s excellent Golf Course, Fishing and
Sailing. Why not sample the flavour of the area popular with visitors and locals
alike. Enjoy a walk along by the water or relax in the traditional pubs and restaurants in
the village.
The amenities in the area are so diverse they cater for all tastes. Your stay
can be as relaxing or as active as you want it to be. On our doorstep are some
of Cork’s outstanding Golf Courses and Heritage Centres with easy access to
Cork’s most popular tourist towns, Blarney, Kinsale & Cobh. Just 2 miles
away is Carrigaline where food and music is plentiful. One can visit the famous
"Stephen Pearse Pottery Shop", or perhaps stroll in the Curabinny
Woods.
Maybe you like the pleasure of a leisurely walk (or drive), then take the
scenic route to Crosshaven with the oldest yacht charter in the world it is also
one of the major sailing centres in the country.
